The Kamba made his own Ugali

There was an Kikuyu, a Luo and a Kamba working on the top of a cliff. The Kikuyu said, “If I have Managu in my Ugali tomorrow, I’ll jump off this cliff.”

The Luo said, “If I have Omena in my Ugali tomorrow, I’ll jump off the cliff.”

The Kamba said, “If I have only Ugali tomorrow, I’ll jump off the cliff.”

The next day, the Kikuyu had managu, the Kamba had ugali only, and the Luo had omena. So they all jumped.

At the funerals, the wives of the Luo and Kikuyu said, “Why didn’t they just tell us they didn’t like their ugali?”

The Kamba lady said, “I don’t know why my husband jumped off the cliff. He made his own Ugali.”
